My dads side of the family is from Roark Kentucky. He states we have Irish and Cherokee blood. I'm trying to find ancestors/family history. I can't get this from him and his family due to an ugly divorce between my mom and him when I was a baby. His name is Lynn Roar. His dads Name is also Lynn Roark.

Just curious, my father's name is Robert Ray Roark, and his father's was Jesse Roark(no middle name) married to Harriet( Hattie ) Baker/ Roark. Anyone sound familiar? I have lot's of Roark relations, like 4 Roark uncles... I could compare names and stuff? Thanks!!
